Midland States Bank Opens New Full Service Office in Champaign
EFFINGHAM, ILLINOIS – May 13, 2013 – Midland States Bank has opened its first full-service banking center in Champaign. This 4,500 square foot office is conveniently located just east of Mattis Avenue at 1617 W. Springfield Avenue. Midland currently has 31 banking and wealth management offices in Illinois, one in Missouri and one in Wisconsin.
The single-story, contemporary building features an “open space” interior design with glass walls encompassing the lobby area. An enhanced walk-in experience greets customers with a unique, continuous customer-friendly service counter that allows most customer transactions to be fulfilled without moving from desk-to-desk. A comfortable seating area includes a fireplace and self-service coffee bar. Two large flatscreen monitors add visual appeal and feature bank promotions and information. The banking center also includes two drive-thru lanes, as well as a drive-thru ATM and night depository.
Leading Midland’s Champaign market expansion is Market President Becky Von Holten. services with a staff of 10. The office staff from Midland’s former limited-service facility located at 1608 Broadmoor in Champaign has relocated to the new building.
In addition to the opening of Midland’s new office, in early 2013, the bank added a 24-hour, drive-up ATM kiosk at the corner of Prospect and West Bloomington Road in Champaign.
