Fresh New Look and Enhanced Services at Former First National Bank of Grant Park Branches

EFFINGHAM, ILLINOIS – August 16, 2013 – Midland States Bank, which recently acquired First National Bank of Grant Park and its three branches, has completed its rebranding in Beecher and Bourbonnais and is currently working to remodel the exterior of the Grant Park branch.

The Grant Park branch is seeing the most significant changes with repairs to the exterior brick facade and painting to bring a uniform look to the building, which has seen various expansions and renovation projects over the years. The existing green awning will be replaced with a colorful, new exterior element and the drive-up ATM will be enhanced with a canopy to protect customers from inclement weather.

Customers are already seeing an enhanced menu of personal and business products with Midland. Midland’s Liv™ personal checking programs offer many more technology-based conveniences, including Online, Mobile and Text banking, as well as additional security benefits with TrustedID’s Best-In-Class identity theft and monitoring service. Consumer loans are generally approved within the same-day and commercial banking features include advanced online capabilities and expanded cash management choices. Mortgage, wealth management and merchant services programs are offered as well.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome the employees and customers of the former First National Bank branches as part of our community banking family,” commented Leon Holschbach, President and Chief Executive Officer of Midland. “We take great pride, not only in offering exceptional banking services, but also investing in the communities we serve. Making improvements to our branches is just one phase of our investment and we look forward to being an active partner in the growth of our new communities.”

Midland retained the branch managers of the three locations, which include Char Sims in Grant Park, Chris Szymanski in Beecher and Tony Sykes in Bourbonnais.

“We are excited to be a part of a larger family of community banks,” commented Sims. “This allows us the resources to better serve our customers and actively support and partner with our communities.”
