Midland States Bancorp Added to ABA NASDAQ Community Bank Index

EFFINGHAM, Ill., Dec. 19, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Midland States Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ:MSBI) today announced that it has been added to the ABA (American Bankers Association) NASDAQ Community Bank Index (ABAQ), the nation’s most broadly representative stock index for community banks.  The index includes 341 community banks with a total market capitalization of nearly $260 billion.

Launched in December 2003, the ABAQ is the most broadly representative stock index for community banks and remains an important tool for banks to establish additional visibility with analysts and investors.
